Everything To Know About The Oppo Find X10 Series
Phones are major investments, so seeking out the right one at the right price is a canny move for the cost-conscious – that’s how the OnePlus phone range gained a strong following. The brand recently withdrew from the UK to concentrate on its main operations in China and India – but parent company BBK Electronics has quickly conjured up an alternative instead: The OPPO Find X10.
The soon-to-be-released phone and its premium version, the Find X10 Pro Max, aim to deliver flagship features without the flagship price tag. OnePlus’s exit means OPPO now has an exclusive partnership with photography specialists Hasselblad, which makes it a unique choice in a crowded market.
While OPPO has yet to reveal official information on the Find X10 series in the UK, thanks to intel from its earlier launch in China, here’s an idea of what to expect.
Camera
The clear reason to pick the Find X10 over other phones on the market is its collaboration with Swedish photography equipment specialists Hasselblad. A revered name in the industry (NASA used their cameras to film the first steps on the moon), they’ve lent their smarts to the OPPO’s photography processing, to create vibrant, pro-level images – and the ‘H’ branding on the phone proudly shows their stamp of approval.
The hardware line-up speaks to this draw: on the front, a 50MP camera helps take great selfies. The back panel houses a trio of high-quality lenses: a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 200MP telephoto camera with a mighty 2.8x zoom – perfect for those far-away shots.
That’s already impressive when compared with the iPhone 17’s set-up: a 18MP front camera, a 48MP main camera, and a 48MP ultra-wide camera, with optical zoom of 2x.
The Find X10 Pro Max goes a step further, with three 200MP cameras on the back – the best on the market for the major players. The 3x zoom is also impressive (though not the 8x zoom of the iPhone 18 Pro Max), and it can film 8K video from all three back lenses.
Design and display
With a parent company that’s clearly thinking about the overlap between OnePlus and OPPO, you won’t be surprised to hear they bear similarities. So expect a familiar look and feel.
You’ll notice a camera island that’s inspired by the iPhone, and the big ‘H’ on its back makes the differentiator clear. The colours are confirmed in the UK as Glacier Blue, Mist Grey and Glow Coral for the standard version, and Titanium Grey and Luna White for the Pro Max.
For the display, expect a 6.59” OLED display on the standard version and a 6.78” screen on the Pro Max. Both have a refresh rate of 144Hz, suggesting they offer a smoother experience than the iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 Pro Max, at 120Hz.
Battery performance
Once again, we’re seeing market-leading specs, which is building a picture that either the X10 is the underdog of phones, or it’s stronger on paper than it is in experience.
Both the standard and Pro Max come with a whopping 8000mAh battery – significantly larger than the UK’s next in line, the 5000mAh in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
That should be enough to last a full day of intense use, without having to hunt for a charger. But when you do need to juice it up, the 80W wired and 67W wireless charging means it happens speedily – that’s the kind of convenience appreciated in a phone.
Tech and features
While the Chinese manufacturer doesn’t opt for a globally-recognised chip brand, their own equivalents have been found to do the job reasonably well. So we expect efficient running from the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M for the main version and the 9600 Pro for the Pro Max – they should give a good gaming performance, for example, with little lag.
Both phones run on ColorOS on top of Android 17, suggesting a familiar Android experience.
Price and availability
UK pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, but last year’s OnePlus 15 was launched at £849, so expect a price north of that. While they haven’t confirmed a launch date, rumours are that it will be around October 21st – when the pre-order deal finishes.
What a deal that is: even though you’re buying without knowing its exact details, those who are willing to shell out the £49 deposit will get £150 off the X10 or £200 off the Pro Max, plus your choice of a Hasselblad teleconverter kit, OPPO Watch X3, or OPPO Pad 5.
They’re also promising to refund the difference if prices drop later in 2026 – including Black Friday deals. It’s a risk, but displaced OnePlus fans might well have enough trust and temptation to take advantage.
