Switched On Insurance Launches First TV Ad Courtesy of Sky Media’s SME250 Support Scheme

Switched On Insurance has launched its first TV advertising campaign utilising AdSmart from Sky, Sky’s addressable TV platform, after it won a coveted place on Sky Media’s SME Support Scheme.

The initiative is Sky Media’s response to the challenging times caused by the coronavirus pandemic and sees it invest £2.5 million to support 250 small businesses by providing them with free airtime in July 2020, along with assistance with the creative process.

James Cottrell, Managing Director at Switched On Insurance, said: “We’re really delighted to be one of the companies selected by Sky as this provides us with a great opportunity to test the power of TV advertising in a really targeted way. Created by the Switched On team and the creative team at Sky, the ad uses animated graphics to support the brand’s key attributes including its cancel anytime polices, 24/7 online claims portal and its fast repairs and replacement services.
