Taurus Insurance Extends Underwriting Agreement With ERGO
Taurus Insurance, which owns and manages some of the UK’s biggest phone and gadget insurance brands, has placed its entire underwriting portfolio with ERGO.
The Gibraltar based intermediary’s partnership with ERGO began in August 2019 when the underwriter, which is part of Munich Re, supported its move into other insurance lines.
This new agreement sees ERGO underwrite the company’s gadget insurance account, which not only incorporates Taurus’s own brands – Switched On Insurance, Swipe and Trusted Insurances – but also that of its many affinity partnerships.
